X Chromosome DNA

The X chromosome DNA (xDNA) is its own unique packet of DNA that housed in the center of every cell. Everyone inherits an X chromosome from their mother.  If you are a woman you get another X chromosome from your father.  If you are a man then inherit a Y chromosome from your father so you only have one X chromosome.

Your XDNA is tested as part of your autosomal DNA test, but not every company is using or reporting the results.

However, many times the pieces of XDNA you share are so small, that having a connection on the XDNA may not be significant.
