Download Raw DNA from MyHeritage DNA
After you get your DNA test results from MyHeritage, be sure you download the raw DNA file. Do this for safekeeping and so you can transfer your DNA test results to another website to see what else you may learn.
Watch the video below or keep scrolling for step-by-step instructions for downloading raw DNA data from AncestryDNA.

Note: You can only download your raw DNA file if you’ve taken a MyHeritage DNA test (not if you’ve transferred your DNA to MyHeritage from another company). Raw DNA files can only be downloaded by the manager of the DNA kit (not the assignee) to a computer or Android device. You cannot download MyHeritage raw DNA files to an iPhone or iPad.
1. Login to your My Heritage account.

7. Click on the download link in the email. Note that this link is only valid for 24 hours. If you are trying to access this link after 24 hours, you’ll need to restart the process.
